say no, human being
When they demand to see your pass
point to your heart

When they say "free trade"
say free pillage
When they say "cheap labor"
say cheapened lives
When they turn to face another direction
learn that direction
and face them again.

When they say "resource"
say no revelation
When they say "quarterly profits"
say eternal losses
When they say "greatest economic expansion in fifty years"
say greatest mass extinction in 4.5 billion.

When the ask "but by what authority. . ."
say nothing, think of the creatures
and the children, stand on the one earth
hold your hands up under the sky
