--life that now,
from blind forms and
sinuous phosphorescence in the ocean night
to wings in the winds
above the mountains,
weaves between the
hard rock of the planet and the dark of outer space
a veil some twelve
miles deep, pulsing through water, earth and air
with
an infinity of forms
forever bound more
closely, and more intricately, each to each, until
within
any place and moment, life cohered, an ever-shifting whole.
